If memory serves
Saturday, July 23rd, 2005Is there an image out there (or in this case, in there) that only exists in your head? I have several, and I can only describe them to myself and try to reconstruct them to the best that my failing memory can help, so I’m beginning to think that whatever it is I was thinking about may never have looked like that at all, or worse yet, never existed. I was Googling for a street map and accidentally ran across this image:
And it fell upon my like a torrent. I barely remember the Tampico trams before they shut down, but that image in the back of my head matched the one on The Tramways of Mexico website. I wonder if I’ll ever get to see other things I think I remember again?
